The Ecdesign model importer supports files in SketchUp (.skp) format. You can download free models from 3D Warehouse. At 3D Warehouse you can find almost any type of 3D model which can be used for free in Ecdesign. You can also create your own models using SketchUp.

Important Sketchup information - ECDESIGN 4
3D Warehouse no longer supports download of Sketchup 2018 files. We have released a patch update that will allow you to download Sketchup 2020 and 2021 files. Download and run the patch update in order to import 3D files from 3D Warehouse.
