We recently announced the launch of Ecdesign 5 in 2020. Since then we have received alot of questions about the new software and soon we will present in depth information on the new platform, but we can already now reveal a few of the things included in Ecdesign 5.

Full MAC & Windows support
New 3D engine with ultra realistic 3D
New modern user interface
Design in both 2D & 3D
New and improved design tools
Create images, walkthrough videos & vr presentations in much higher resolution
New export options
New standard textures and objects

An open beta will be available before the launch and you will soon be able to sign up for it.

Is 5 out? I don't see any change to the user interface. Apologies if you announced a launch date, I didn't see it. Please advise. I am looking forward to seeing any improvements/changes you make to the program.

Not yet, but the BETA will be released very shortly. Keep a look out here or on our social media channels for updates.

This is a great article and you are banged on with your points about ecdesign 5 information. Be clear about what you really need and want to accomplish at this point- you are right with this point.
