Sherwin-Williams streamline the design process with Ecdesign
Judy Folk from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes explains how Ecdesign helps give customers a better understanding on the importance of an effecient design.
Ecdesign: How would you say Ecdesign has changed the way your organization does business?
Judy Folk: Ecdesign has allowed me to expand the offering of my department creating exciting presentations for my customers. Not only are they provided with a two dimensional process layout but an impressive 3D detailed personalized layout to visualize their new facility.
Ecdesign: How important is Ecdesign when working with new customers?
Judy Folk: Ecdesign engages my customers with samples to show them whats possible rather than a traditional design. This allows my customers to easily visualize the space, options, and the potential of my designs.
Ecdesign: Would you say that Ecdesign helps you win more projects?
Judy Folk: With limited resources and project budgets, Ecdesign allows me to stay competitive and still create design presentations that will impress my customers in a time and cost effective way. Time is expensive and Ecdesign allows my design presentations to be engaging, dynamic and productive. Better visualization means better design communications.
Ecdesign: Do you think Ecdesign helps increase customer satisfaction?
Judy Folk: Ecdesign clearly illustrates the design ideas critical to my customers allowing them to visualize the space, the design and their options. When done effectively, clients are then better able to see the value of the design and make the decisions necessary to make the design a reality. Better visualization means better design communication. With multiple parties involved, (owners, contractors, equipment vendors, installation crews), this allows everyone to updated in an instant.
