SEMA Show 2025 – innovation, energy, and insights from Ecdesign
The SEMA Show in Las Vegas is the world’s largest gathering for the automotive aftermarket — a place where manufacturers, suppliers, and innovators meet to showcase what’s next. For Ecdesign, it’s the perfect opportunity to connect directly with the people who use our software every day and to understand how the repair-shop industry is evolving.
Ecdesign’s Richard Grönberg in conversation with Hunter Engineering President Beau Brauer during the first day of SEMA — a simple, genuine moment that captures what the show is all about: real discussions with the people shaping the industry.
This year, we spent the week meeting partners, customers, and new companies discovering Ecdesign for the first time. We presented the latest updates in Ecdesign 5, our new platform built on a completely new 3D engine with improved tools for designing modern repair shops. And most importantly — we listened.
SEMA gives us clear, honest insights into what repair professionals need: what works well, what could be faster, and which features would strengthen their workflow even further. These conversations guide the next improvements we build.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas, or gave feedback. SEMA remains one of the most valuable weeks of the year for us — and we look forward to coming back.
Here’s a short video that captures the energy, creativity, and excitement on the SEMA show floor.
