What we’ve been up to lately
There’s a lot of great energy at Ecdesign right now! Over the past months, we’ve welcomed new customers and partners, launched inspiring Design stories from our community, and continued improving Ecdesign 5 with performance updates and new equipment models. Our mission remains the same — to make the design process faster, smarter, and more creative for everyone using Ecdesign. Here’s a look at what’s new and what’s next.
Entrepreneur of the year Sweden
After being named Entrepreneur of the year in Örebro County, our CEO Richard Grönberg went on to represent the region in the national finals of Entrepreneur of the year Sweden — a fantastic recognition of his and the team’s work.
Richard reflected on the experience:
“What a day in Stockholm! To stand among so many incredible entrepreneurs from every county in the country was an honor in itself. The celebrations at Stockholm City Hall – where Nobel Prize winners walk down the grand staircase – were truly special. An amazing night, an amazing party, and so many inspiring people in one place.”
He added:
“I’m incredibly proud of our team — everything we’ve achieved is because of them. Their talent, loyalty, and energy made this possible.”

Latest updates in Ecdesign 5
We’ve made important performance improvements to ensure Ecdesign runs faster and smoother than ever — even when working with large, complex projects.
We’ve also expanded our model library with new premium fitness brands, giving you even more options to create realistic and high-quality designs.
And we’re not stopping there — more updates and improvements are already in the works, based on feedback from our amazing users. Stay tuned!
